Early Years
Playgroup, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten
Why is it important for children in Early Childhood stage to begin their school experience?
They have their first interactions with the school environment: establishing routines and rules of school.
They develop cognitive potential and academic skills through the EP Curriculum Framework (MINEDUC) and the International Curriculum IEYC (ICA).
They enhance social and emotional skills through interaction with other students.
Expressive and receptive language skills are stimulated through communication with peers.
It supports the early detection of special educational needs.
Objectives of the Early Years Cycle: Along with preparing for formal schooling, our students will holistically develop:
- Autonomy
- Self-Regulation and Moral Development
- Social Development (pro-social behaviors)
- Learning (knowledge, skills, and understanding)
English Language
Why Does Our Program Include a High Number of English Hours?
Constant exposure to a non-native language helps in acquiring basic commands and vocabulary needed to develop an additional language. That is why our methodologies focus on an immersive English environment. Through daily routines and playful learning activities, our students develop communication skills in english language and lay the foundation for bilingualism.
